It is often said that we’re our own worst critics. Often times, especially due to a recent setback, there is a tendency to have negative thoughts and self talks. We criticize ourselves in our mind constantly and this criticism may manifest as depression, insomnia, severe stress, hypertension etc. It may also hinder our progress as this inner critic can prevent us from making the most of our opportunities. This mental barricade has an adverse impact on our personality and, in the long run, our relationships ( both private and professional) as well.
This article will help to recognise and regulate self criticism so that we may build our self-esteem and confidence to get past any obstacle in our life.
