Avoiding Failure? You’re Doing It Wrong!

Failure!! The word instantly raises such negative associations within us. We want to avoid it at all cost and try to stall it with excruciating planning & strategy. We work hard to eliminate scenarios in which we may lose control or slip up. The individual or organization may be faced with substantial risks thus anxiety & stress are obvious side-effects for the stakes involved. The social ostracism faced by individuals for not ‘making it’ is immense & there is little empathy offered for even genuine mistakes. But as much as we desire and long for success, failure too (although unpleasant) a pertinent reality of our lives. And our attitude and approach towards it is the key to whether we’ll be able to steer clear of it or in fact, just make it inevitable.
